The content of this site has been saved slowly over the years, written by us or contributing authors, and if copied from any site has been done so with permission. Our claim of copyright is in format, original content, design, and logo.

- You may index, link to, or save this site to your hard drive.
- You may not use our work, logo, design, with any intent at financial gain.
- You may even, if you desire, mirror our site and host copies of it anywhere you wish provided it is not for financial gain and you limit indexing our content to once a month.

The nature of the content here is such that while we believe none of this work is a direct copy nor truly derivative of any other works, there is material located on this site that simply can not be claimed as ours. An example would be the listings of the various shortcut keys, we did not make the keys nor did we find them for the first time. We are surely not the first people to list them on the internet. We do feel that we are original and unique in our methods of listing make no claim to the material in any such cases.
If you feel that there is any content on this site that is in violation of your copyright policy please contact us. We will make every effort to uphold your rights should you be able to provide proof that we've violated your copyright in any way. In all such instances content will be removed within 24 hours of notification and will remain removed for a reasonable period in which you will be required to prove original creation. If such is not met within the reasonable period, as defined by us, our policy will be to make known such threats, upload the original content, and ignore any additional efforts at contact be they legitimate or not. Assuming that this is not going to happen, but wishing to establish a policy for this possible eventuality, we further state that any additional contact will be through the courts of the State in which we are currently residing. Countersuits will be filed for libel, time, travel, and legal fees.
Now, that's over. What does it mean? Well, it wasn't written by a lawyer. We don't want one. In fact, one of our primary goals is to never need one. Reading the laws has shown that the above is likely to be considered viable in a court of law. It basically means that you can do what ever you want with the site unless you're trying to make money from our work. It also goes further to define our policy concerning copyright. In most cases we will believe the complaint to be valid until given further notice and will comply with any requests that are reasonable until we've had the chance to research the matter on our own. Once our choice has been made (only likely due to failure to provide evidence will we return the content or proof that we can find older non-copyrighted material which even your claimed content may be derivative of) we'll stick to our decision and have no qualms about standing up for our rights. So, simply, your claim should be valid if you make one. If not then we're just going to be nasty about it. If your claim is valid then we'll be as good as gold and see if we can either work something out or we'll remove the content. After all, there's enough of this type of content to go around and one page out of them all isn't really going to hurt anyone other than the person who had come here looking for help.
