Changing Drive Letter

It's amazing how often this question is asked. "How do I change the drive letter for my CD/DVD drive?" Well, it's actually pretty simple.

1. Right click My Computer and select properties
2. Click the Device Manager tab
3. Expand the CD-Rom entry by clicking the "+" (Plus) sign
4. Right click the name of the drive you want to change and select properties
5. Click the settings tab
6. In the drop-down menu for reserved drive letters select the drive letter you want to assign to that drive.
