Install Character Map

There are a lot of symbols that you have access to with your PC. One of the easiest ways to do this is to go ahead and install the character map feature with 98. (Note that other Windows Operating Systems tend to install this by default.)

In order to install this you will need to have you Windows 98 CD handy.

1. Insert you 98 CD
2. Press the Start button
3. Click on Settings and then on the Control Panel
4. Double click on the Add/Remove icon
5. Click the Windows Setup tab
6. Open the System Tool tab
7. Place a check in the box next to character map
8. Click okay
9. Follow any prompts
10. Remove CD from the tray
11. Enjoy
