Replacing Lost Disks or Hardware

Often people loose their Windows installation CD and wonder how they can (or should) replace it. The best option is to check with the computer's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to see what methods they may provide in the way of replacing the recovery disks for you. However, if you didn't get your disk(s) from them, then you will want to try Microsoft directly:

Note that if you have broken your Microsoft hardware then, again, you'll want to try the store that you purchased it from in the first place and if the results are negative then you'll want to try the above link.
