For 98, ME, 2000 and Other Legacies

Even though this article does not relate to current versions of Windows and newer technologies it is placed here in our All Platforms section — rather than duplicating this information over and over in the 98, ME, and 2000 sections.

Microsoft has nicely archived much of its "outdated" information pertaining to products of bygone days. One such archive is the TechNet Archive. Its topics cover a wide verity of technologies and software offered over the years (including articles that date back to Windows 95). The following link opens its homepage:
